OperVea ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform to register, manage, operate, market, and support businesses in Ghana.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

Identity Data: Full name, date of birth, gender, nationality, Ghana Card number, TIN
Contact Data: Email address, phone number, physical address, digital address
Business Data: Proposed business names, business activities, sector, address
Financial Data: Payment information processed through Paystack (we do not store card details)
Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device information, usage patterns

3. How We Use Your Data

To process and submit your business registration with the ORC where applicable
To communicate updates about applications, workflows, service requests, and operational activity
To facilitate payments and issue receipts
To provide customer support, campaign support, workflow support, and respond to inquiries
To comply with legal and regulatory obligations
To improve our platform and develop new features

4. Data Sharing

We share your data only with: the Office of the Registrar of Companies (ORC), Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA), SSNIT (where applicable), our banking partners (upon your request), and Paystack for payment processing. We never sell your personal data to third parties.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted storage, access controls, and regular security audits to protect your personal information.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. Registration records are retained for a minimum of 10 years in compliance with Ghanaian corporate law.
